Who’s New Bachelor?
The Bachelorette season 20 finale revealed the 28th Bachelor. The next suitor was believed to be one of Charity Lawson’s final two males, Joey or Dotun Olubeko. Dotun’s engagement to Charity made Joey the logical choice. “It’s definitely surreal,” Joey added. I’m trying to stay present and enjoy it as it sinks in slowly. It’s crazy. Very wild. Nothing like this was expected. Crazy but exciting.”

Before the announcement, controversial candidate Xavier Bonner was another option. Charity killed Xavier before entering the dream suite. Charity sent Xavier home after he admitted to cheating on his ex and doubting their love. A simple vow to trust yourself not to injure me. Perhaps this is too much to anticipate, but your self-doubt is already high.She told him she didn’t mistrust him. I simply want you there when you’re ready, not before. Aaron Bryant may have been The Bachelor season 28’s new star. He tried to win her back in Fiji before the finals after being sent home during hometown dates. He played Bachelor in Paradise instead of the new Bachelor.

Season 28 of The Bachelor begins January 22, 2024. ABC’s Bachelor In Paradise season 9 and The Golden Bachelor ended recently. Gerry Turner looked for love after heartbreak in The Golden Bachelor, the senior spinoff.

Joey’s Bachelor trailer is full of drama. “What I’m looking for is something so real that anyone can feel it, they can see it, and it gets me excited to think about it,” Joey says in the trailer, followed by clips of women battling over the handsome lead.
Later in the video, host Jesse Palmer promises “an unprecedented, shocking first in Bachelor history” in the season finale. Joey says, “I was crazy,” while crying during the final rose ceremony. Never expected that. Probably never happened before. Not sure what to say. I offered my best. Tired of feeling this way. No idea. Feels wrong. No idea what to do.”
Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar: Still Together?
The Bachelor season 27 star Zach Shallcross married Kaity Biggar. In the season 27 finale, the couple got engaged and remain in love. The couple revealed on Instagram in July 2023 that they had moved in together in Austin, Texas.

Zach and Kaity announced their future plans beyond moving in together on the March 2023 After the Final Rose special. “We discussed wedding planning. We’re considering a 2025 wedding. We’ll see with kids after that!” Zach said then. They recently moved in together in Austin, Texas, so their future seems bright!
