Meri Brown Explains Why She Doesn’t Trust Robyn ‘Implicitly’Amid Kody Drama

Despite her divorce from Kody Brown, Meri Brown still sees Robyn Brown, 45, but she doesn’t trust her. In the December 10 Sister Wives: One on One special, Meri, 52, says “Robyn has my back.” A catch, though.

Sukanya hosts “Suki” Krishnan says, “But you don’t trust her implicitly?” Meri says, “No.” Suki asks why.Robyn explains her side. “There was somebody that was trying to convince me that there was something going on,” Robyn explains. I finally told them, ‘I don’t believe you. I won’t discuss anything with you until you have proof.

Robyn claims her relationship with Meri has never had a “problem”. “My understanding was because she was in this weird, awkward place and felt scared to talk to anyone, not because of something I was doing,” she adds.Meri informs Suki she’s no longer spiritually wedded to Kody, 54, therefore she’s not a sister wife. Robyn whispers, “She’s my sister wife,” as Suki says Meri is her “ex-sister wife.”

Through tears, Robyn says, “Please don’t call her that. Not to me. Not me, but elsewhere. This is my sister-wife. Chris and Janelle are too. Not sure how to let go. Not just being dramatic. Thank you, Christine. Very sad to hear her say that.” New Sister Wives: One on One episodes air Sundays on TLC.Meri says a Robyn friend “inserted herself” into her catfishing scandal.

“Robyn’s friend was feeding her information and maybe making her and Kody believe I was having an affair, and then Robyn would talk to me and I’d say, ‘Robyn, I’ve never met this person. What are you talking about?’” Meri says.I retreated, she says. It damaged my trust in Robyn. But trust has recovered.”
