Sydney stressed: “Everybody’s body is beautiful. People can see your confidence and happiness.Sydney used big sweatshirts in high school to hide her curves. Grown guys will catcall and sexualize girls that age and younger.“I went through that process of covering my body up at such a young age, but once I became more confident with myself, [it changed],” Sydney said.
She said: “I want to show girls that it’s amazing, beautiful, and empowering to have our bodies.”She has been criticized for resenting people’s strange comments about her boobs while wearing low-cut bikinis on Instagram. That’s not hypocrisy, but it’s different from her teen attitude.
“I definitely keep my social media focused towards the work that I’m doing and sprinkle in a little bit of myself,” Sydney added.“I didn’t go to school to learn politics or social [issues],” she said. “So I don’t think speaking on things I’m not fully educated on is the right way to use my social media presence.”
