- ⅔ cup white sugar
- ⅓ cup margarine or butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
