Anna Cardwell’s Dying Days to Be Featured on Mama June: Road to Redemption

Anna Cardwell, 29, died this week, as previously reported.The daughter of June Shannon and sister of former child beauty pageant finalist Alana Thompson was diagnosed with a rare disease in March and died a few months later surrounded by family.

“With the breaking heart, we are announcing that @annamarie35 is no longer with us,” June said on Instagram December 10 beside a photo of herself, Anna, and their family on June’s reality program.The photo choice was not greatly noticed at the time.However, it may make more sense now.Shannon is now facing blowback.

TMZ reports that WEtv cameras documented Cardwell’s dying days, which will be included on Mama June: Road to Redemption, Shannon’s reality show after her substance addiction problems cost her a relationship with her kids for almost a year.Many find it odd that Shannon got this show for abandoning her daughters and taking drugs.It’s even stranger that she’ll use Cardwell’s death as a plot.

TMZ reported that the [film] crew was with her just hours before she died. Anna was in hospice for a little over 3 weeks and open to capturing everything.Is Cardwell mentally fit to agree to this?Should June have put her sick daughter in this position?Anna documented her cancer journey on TikTok and other platforms before her death.

But she didn’t earn from those accounts; she probably merely wanted to update interested fans.TMZ wrote that Anna was candid about her health difficulties and wanted them on the show to help viewers appreciate her and cancer victims’ struggles.

She was extremely honest with them and wanted them to know all she faced.Anna left two little daughters.Kaitlyn, Anna’s elder daughter, will be cared for by June, while Kylee, her younger daughter, lives with her ex-husband, Michael Cardwell.

Anna was married to Eldridge Toney when she died, but he is not the father of either girl.Shannon responded to internet criticism a few days ago.“Let me answer some of y’all stupid ass people I can’t tell you how many times I broke down even before Anna passed away,” Shannon remarked.

In this process, even a normal conversation can cause me to cry.“My mind and emotions are messed up.Don’t give negativity-lovers your energy; they’ll rot in hell because they can’t express how they’d act.“One of the hardest things I’ve ever faced in my life.”
