As you may have heard, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are mostly nasty people who raised their children on highly conservative and ridiculously rigid Institute in Basic Life Principles standards.You probably heard about this from the Amazon documentary “Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets.”This film’s makers interviewed Jill Duggar, who revealed her parents’ sexism.Jinger Duggar didn’t.

“Those teachings of Bill Gothard were awful and they were so deceptive because they were mixed in, there would be elements of truth from scripture and it would just take a twist, where it was very damaging,” Jinger describes the Institute in Basic Life Principles leader.”With something like this in a documentary, I was afraid things wouldn’t be handled as I wanted, so I didn’t continue.”
