Let the mess continue! ‘Vanderpump Rules’ is returning for season 11, and the drama-filled trailer is finally here. Here’s what we know about the next season.
After Bravo’s biggest controversy, the ‘Scandoval,’ Vanderpump Rules is more popular than ever. By March 2023, Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ months-long romance was revealed to everyone, including Tom’s nine-year girlfriend Ariana Madix. The dramatic season 10 finale aired May 17 when Bravo resumed filming the consequences. For the May 3-part reunion, the group met Andy Cohen on March 23. Bravo approved Vanderpump Rules season 11 after all the turmoil.
Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules is coming. Bravo announced the show’s renewal on May 9. Bravo ordered new episodes of The Real Housewives, Below Deck, Southern Charm, Million Dollar Listing, and others. Filming began at the end of June for the season. On January 30, Season 11 premieres.
Variety interviewed executive producer Alex Baskin about the next season. Alex: “No one’s saying no, I’ll say that — but I think it’s hard for anybody to say yes right now, because they feel like they haven’t gotten any reprieve.” Why Bravo didn’t expedite season 11 filming was also mentioned. “The reunion is not just a nostalgia trip or an intense emotional experience. He announced new facts before all three reunion sections aired. “Revelations exist, but not everyone knows them. We need some room. I thought we needed cameras on them immediately. I think we need a moment.”
Alex told Variety the show would film summer 2023. He stated it’s a balance since we don’t want too much time to pass. As we’ve seen, we can also raise cameras. If Tom and Ariana move, we’re up. However, I think we need enough time to escape this vortex.”
On June 6, The Hollywood Reporter asked Alex when production would resume. Alex answered, “Our hope and plan is in the close future this summer. So, in a few weeks.” He was right. Lala Kent said on June 26 that season 11 production would begin on June 28, 2023, while livestreaming on Amazon.
The Scandoval has piqued interest in the next VPR season. At BravoCon, the show was scheduled for January. Bravo published season 11’s trailer on December 11 and confirmed its January 30 debut.
