1. Raisins and grapes

4. Nuts

• Dogs can’t digest nuts the same way people do, and some kinds, like macadamia nuts, are poisonous to them.
• Even the ones that aren’t poisonous are hard for pets to digest and can cause other health problems. To avoid getting nuts, always keep them out of reach.
• Pecan nuts, macadamia nuts, and walnuts are the worst. Don’t forget that nut butters are bad for your dog because they have a lot of fat and salt.

5. Nutmeg

• This isn’t something that you should have a lot of lying around your house, but it is something to be aware of! Nutmeg has myristicin in it.
• The small amounts found in cakes might not be harmful, but dogs can get tremors, seizures, and even die from eating too much of it.
