Strawberry Banana Bread Recipe

It is piping hot, crisp, and incredibly tasty! This recipe for strawberry banana bread is going to be a hit with you because of how simple it is to put together.

This bread is a quick bread that is ready in a short amount of time and is ideal for breakfast or as a snack. Although I am a huge fan of banana bread, I must say that the addition of fresh strawberries elevates the flavor of this bread to an all new level. And the aroma that fills your home when this bread is baking in the oven is really indescribable. Put an end to whatever you are doing and go get the oven ready to go!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (1 Stick) softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries chopped & tossed in 1 Tablespoon of flour

Instructions

  • Put the oven on to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Apply nonstick spray to two loaf pans measuring 9 by 5 inches. Put aside for later.
  • Combine the butter and sugar in a large basin and use a KitchenAid Stand Mixer equipped with a paddle attachment to cream them together until they become frothy and light.
  • A fork should be used to beat the eggs in a small bowl. After adding the eggs to the sugar mixture, continue to beat until everything is incorporated. Mix in the mashed bananas until everything is incorporated.
  • Sift all of the dry ingredients, including the salt, baking soda, and flour. Add the dry ingredients that have been sifted to the banana mixture in a slow increment and mix until the flour is barely incorporated. NOT TOO MUCH MIXTURE! Toss in strawberries that have been coated in flour.
  • After the loaf pans have been prepared, pour the mixture into them and bake them at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for fifteen minutes. Turn the oven down to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and continue baking for another half an hour, or until the sides are just beginning to turn brown, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Wait until the loaf pans have totally cooled before removing them.
